Welcome to Throttle and Tech. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website at throttleandtech.com and the products and services we offer. By accessing our website or purchasing any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About us

Throttle and Tech is an independent automotive content and digital products platform based in India. We help new car buyers in India inspect their cars at delivery, understand their purchase decisions better, and avoid common dealership traps. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any car manufacturer, dealership, or automotive industry body.

2. Who can use our products

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide at checkout is accurate.

3. What we sell

Throttle and Tech sells digital products only. Our current catalogue includes:

  • PDI Master Blueprint (new cars) — An interactive, brand-specific web tool that guides you through a pre-delivery inspection of your new car at the dealership or stockyard. Delivered via email as a unique access key linked to a web-based inspection tool.
  • PDI Master Blueprint (used cars) — A downloadable PDF guide for inspecting used cars before purchase.
  • Engine Break-in Blueprint — A downloadable PDF guide for breaking in your new car’s engine correctly during the first 1000-2000 kilometres.
  • EV Powertrain Break-in Blueprint — A downloadable PDF guide for breaking in your new electric vehicle’s powertrain during the first weeks of ownership.
  • Car Wash Secrets — A downloadable PDF guide on washing and maintaining your car’s paint correctly.

We may add, remove, or update products at our discretion. Products you have already purchased will remain accessible regardless of any changes to the catalogue.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are displayed on the relevant product page at the time of purchase. Prices may change from time to time, but the price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the moment you complete checkout.

Payments are processed through Razorpay, our payment gateway partner. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay’s terms and conditions. We do not store your full card details, UPI ID, or bank account information on our servers.

Your order is confirmed only when payment is successfully received. If payment fails or is declined, no contract is formed and no product is delivered.

5. Delivery

6. Refunds and cancellations

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all our products. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, email us within 7 days of the purchase date and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked. For full details, please see our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

7. Access keys and account usage

For the interactive PDI Master Blueprint, you receive a unique access key linked to your purchase. This access key is personal to you and is not transferable. You may not share, sell, resell, sublicense, or distribute your access key to any other person or business.

Each purchase provides a defined number of inspection sessions, as stated on the product page at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to revoke access keys that are detected being used in violation of these Terms, including but not limited to access key sharing or commercial reuse.

8. Intellectual property

All content on Throttle and Tech, including but not limited to text, images, videos, illustrations, the PDI Blueprint inspection content, the PDF guides, our brand name, logo, and the underlying software powering our tools, is owned by Throttle and Tech or licensed to us. This content is protected by Indian copyright law and applicable international copyright treaties.

When you purchase a product, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use that product for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

  • Copy, distribute, publish, or display any part of our content publicly
  • Modify or create derivative works based on our content
  • Use our content to train any artificial intelligence model or system
  • Sell, resell, or commercially exploit our products or content in any way
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our tools
  • Use our content to build a competing product or service

Quoting brief excerpts of our public articles for the purpose of news reporting, review, or criticism is permitted under fair dealing provisions, provided you attribute the source clearly to Throttle and Tech with a link to the original article.

9. User-generated content

When you use the PDI Master Blueprint, you may upload photographs of your car or any defects you find during inspection. These photographs are stored on our servers and are included in the PDF report generated for you at the end of your inspection.

By uploading photographs through our tool, you grant us a limited, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display these photographs solely for the purpose of generating your inspection report and providing customer support related to your purchase. We do not publicly share, sell, or commercially use your photographs without your separate written consent.

You confirm that any photographs you upload are taken by you or you have the right to upload them, and that they do not contain content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing on any third party’s rights.

10. Disclaimers

Throttle and Tech provides educational content, inspection guidance tools, and informational guides. We are not a professional automotive inspection service, an authorised representative of any car manufacturer or dealership, and we do not physically inspect any vehicle on your behalf.

Our PDI Blueprint guides you through a structured inspection, but the actual inspection is performed by you. We do not guarantee that every possible defect in your car will be identified through our checkpoints. The quality and completeness of any inspection depends on the buyer’s attention, time spent, and judgement.

Information in our reviews, articles, guides, and tools is provided in good faith based on our research and experience. Specifications, prices, features, recall information, and dealer practices change over time, and we cannot guarantee that every detail is current at the time you read it. Always verify critical information with the manufacturer or an authorised dealership before making purchase decisions.

Our products are not a substitute for the manufacturer’s warranty, dealership service, or professional automotive advice. We recommend reading your car’s owner’s manual and following the manufacturer’s official guidance for warranty-related matters.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Throttle and Tech, its founders, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our products, website, or services.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our products is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific product giving rise to the claim, or ₹1,499 (whichever is lower).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable Indian law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Throttle and Tech, its founders, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of our products, or your infringement of any third party’s rights through your use of our platform.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our products, applicable law, or business practices. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will show when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of our website or products after a revision means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, please stop using our website and contact us for any concerns.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our products if you violate these Terms, including but not limited to sharing access keys, attempting to reverse engineer our tools, or engaging in fraudulent payment activity. In serious cases of misuse, no refund will be issued.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.

16. Dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, query, or dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at ask@throttleandtech.com so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly. Most issues can be resolved quickly through good-faith conversation, and we genuinely want to make things right.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
